MANIFEST HOPE:DC GALLERY

For the days preceding the Presidential Inauguration, MANIFESTHOPE: DC showcased the works of over 150 different artists advocating improvement in three key areas: HEALTH CARE REFORM, WORKERS' RIGHTS, and THE GREEN ECONOMY. In the spirit of inclusiveness and with the hope of standing as a catalyst for change, this manifestation of the grassroots movement was open to the public. In the span of three days MANIFESTHOPE: DC was visited by over 20,000 patrons.

Closing night festivities included musical performances by: De La Soul, Moby and Santogold. The evening was hosted by Michael Stipe, Rosario Dawson, Heather Graham, and Shepard Fairey.
